Prior to founding Reid Council Law Firm, Nicole Council gained valuable experience advising employers, businesses and insurers in a wide range of financial matters. She also holds a Master of Business Administration with over twenty years of experience in contract review and negotiations in the insurance and financial services industry.
Nicole is also a certified NBA and WNBA agent (Invisible Ceiling Management Group) and is a former collegiate and international professional basketball player.
In 2010, Nicole founded a 501(c)(3) non-profit Hoopz & Dreamz, Inc. in her hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia. The organization’s mission is to promote the intangible skills that can be obtained through sports and provide alternatives for the under-represented in the community in the pursuit of their dreams.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and attending sporting events.
